Gettin’ Dirty at the 2013 Swamp Romp

Hundreds of participants gathered at Kaneohe Marine Base on Saturday, February 16th, for the 2013 MCB Kaneohe Bay Swamp Romp. The Swamp Romp is a 5 mile obstacle course in dirt, sand, water, and thick mud that’ll suck your shoes right off when trying to get out of it. On the course, runners also conquered other obstacles like log walls, log crossings, an A-Frame, barrels, over-unders, and tire walls. It is definitely the dirtiest race of the year!
